Mediates the transfer of lipids between membranes at organelle contact sites (By similarity). Functions in promoting mitochondrial clearance by mitochondrial autophagy (mitophagy), also possibly by positively regulating mitochondrial fission (PubMed : 29307555, PubMed : 29604224).
