ZNF169 also known as Zinc Finger Protein 169 is a transcription factor that belongs to the zinc finger family. This protein weighs about 84 kDa. It functions by binding to specific DNA sequences regulating gene expression. Expression of ZNF169 is found in various tissues including the brain and testes. It plays a role in numerous cellular processes due to its ability to modulate transcription.
This protein acts as a regulatory element in cellular differentiation and proliferation.
