ab248850 is the carrier-free version of Anti-ZNF575 antibody [EPR9027] ab138499.
Our RabMAb® technology is a patented hybridoma-based technology for making rabbit monoclonal antibodies. For details on our patents, please refer to RabMAb® patents.
This product is a recombinant monoclonal antibody, which offers several advantages including:
For more information, read more on recombinant antibodies.
Our carrier-free antibodies are typically supplied in a PBS-only formulation, purified and free of BSA, sodium azide and glycerol. The carrier-free buffer and high concentration allow for increased conjugation efficiency.
This conjugation-ready format is designed for use with fluorochromes, metal isotopes, oligonucleotides, and enzymes, which makes them ideal for antibody labelling, functional and cell-based assays, flow-based assays (e.g. mass cytometry) and Multiplex Imaging applications.
Use our conjugation kits for antibody conjugates that are ready-to-use in as little as 20 minutes with 1 minute hands-on-time and 100% antibody recovery: available for fluorescent dyes, HRP, biotin and gold.
This product is compatible with the Maxpar® Antibody Labeling Kit from Fluidigm, without the need for antibody preparation. Maxpar® is a trademark of Fluidigm Canada Inc.
The ZNF575 protein also known as Zinc Finger Protein 575 weighs approximately 65 kDa. It contains zinc finger motifs that facilitate DNA binding. These motifs are involved in the regulation of gene transcription. Researchers have detected ZNF575 expression mainly in the brain and reproductive tissues indicating its function may concentrate in these regions.
ZNF575 participates in the regulation of gene expression. It acts as a transcription factor directly influencing the activity of various genes. Although not consistently reported as being part of large molecular complexes ZNF575 can interact with other transcription factors and cofactors. This interaction suggests a role in modulating developmental and cell differentiation processes.
ZNF575 interacts with key pathways like the Wnt signaling and p53 pathway. The Wnt signaling pathway controls critical aspects of cell fate including cellular migration and organogenesis. Its role in the p53 pathway links ZNF575 to the regulation of cell cycle and apoptosis through associations with other proteins like beta-catenin and various p53-regulated genes.
The presence of ZNF575 has implications for neurodegenerative diseases and certain cancers. Misregulation of ZNF575 can influence neuronal function potentially contributing to conditions like Alzheimer's disease. In cancer altered expression of ZNF575 can be associated with tumorigenesis through its interaction with the p53 protein affecting cell growth and survival.

Intracellular flow cytometrical analysis of permeabilized HeLa cells with Anti-ZNF575 antibody [EPR9027] ab138499 antibody at a dilution of 1/10 (red) or a rabbit IgG (negative) (green).
We have systematically measured KD (the equilibrium dissociation constant between the antibody and its antigen), of more than 840 recombinant antibodies to assess not only their individual KD values but also to see the average affinity of antibody.
Based on the comparison with published literature values for mouse monoclonal antibodies, Recombinant antibodies appear to be on average 1-2 order of magnitude higher affinity.
