ab248790 is the carrier-free version of Anti-ZNF703 antibody [EPR9050] ab137054.
Our RabMAb® technology is a patented hybridoma-based technology for making rabbit monoclonal antibodies. For details on our patents, please refer to RabMAb® patents.
This product is a recombinant monoclonal antibody, which offers several advantages including:
For more information, read more on recombinant antibodies.
Our carrier-free antibodies are typically supplied in a PBS-only formulation, purified and free of BSA, sodium azide and glycerol. The carrier-free buffer and high concentration allow for increased conjugation efficiency.
This conjugation-ready format is designed for use with fluorochromes, metal isotopes, oligonucleotides, and enzymes, which makes them ideal for antibody labelling, functional and cell-based assays, flow-based assays (e.g. mass cytometry) and Multiplex Imaging applications.
Use our conjugation kits for antibody conjugates that are ready-to-use in as little as 20 minutes with 1 minute hands-on-time and 100% antibody recovery: available for fluorescent dyes, HRP, biotin and gold.
This product is compatible with the Maxpar® Antibody Labeling Kit from Fluidigm, without the need for antibody preparation. Maxpar® is a trademark of Fluidigm Canada Inc.
ZNF703 also known as Zinc Finger Protein 703 weighs about 62 kDa. This protein functions as a transcription factor playing a significant role in the regulation of gene expression. It mainly localizes to the nucleus where it binds to specific DNA sequences to exert its effects. Reports indicate ZNF703 expression in various tissues such as embryonic stem cells and different cancer types suggesting its importance in development and disease states.
The involvement of ZNF703 in transcription regulation is critical for cellular processes. Acting as part of the transcriptional repressor complexes ZNF703 interacts with other proteins such as CtBP1 and CtBP2. This interaction results in modulation of the expression of genes that are important for cell cycle progression and developmental pathways. Research highlights its regulatory function in balancing cell proliferation and differentiation impacting both normal and pathological conditions.
ZNF703 interacts with several important signaling networks including the E2F and Wnt pathways. Through these interactions ZNF703 influences cell cycle regulation and proliferation. Within these pathways ZNF703 interacts with proteins such as E2F transcription factors and β-catenin which play roles in cell cycle control and developmental processes. These connections illustrate how ZNF703 integrates into a larger cellular network to sustain proper cellular function.
Researchers associate ZNF703 with breast cancer and glioblastoma. Amplification and overexpression of ZNF703 in breast cancer correlate with aggressive tumor phenotypes highlighting its role as an oncogene. ZNF703 also interacts with other cancer-related proteins like MYC enhancing its role in driving tumor progression. Moreover studies indicate ZNF703 overexpression in glioblastoma where it contributes to uncontrolled cell proliferation providing insights into its potential as a therapeutic target.
