pH: 7.2
Preservative: 0.09% Sodium azide
Constituents: 2.9% Sodium chloride, 0.12% Sodium dihydrogen phosphate
The biological function of streptavidin is not known. Forms a strong non-covalent specific complex with biotin (one molecule of biotin per subunit of streptavidin).
Belongs to the avidin/streptavidin family.
Streptavidin-PE will bind to biotin allowing detection of biotinylated antibodies in Flow, microplate assays and microarrays. Streptavidin high affinity for biotin allows low background in cell sorting, immunofluorescence, in situ hybridization, or flow cytometry. Suitable for use with Mouse, Human and Rat samples.
