Flow Cytometry - Human Red Blood Cell Depletion Microbubbles (AB322034)
The results of a PBMC sample before (left) and after (right) using the Human Red Blood Cell Depletion Kit. Using microbubbles to prepare a sample before beginning the cell sorting process can not only reduce sort times by 1/3 or more, but can result in a larger population of healthy, viable cells at the end of the sort.

Human Red Blood Cell (RBC) Depletion Microbubbles remove up to 99% of RBC contamination from biological samples while maintaining the health and physiology of delicate cells of interest.
- 1 mL of microbubbles with the capacity to deplete up to 50 million human RBCs
- Fast & easy workflow effectively removes residual RBCs using 3-step, 10 min workflow
- Reduce sort times by 1/3 while keeping cells happy and healthy
- No magnet, no column, no harsh chemicals
Mechanism of Action: Human Red Blood Cell Depletion Microbubbles employ a monoclonal murine IgG against the human RBC glycophorin-A sialoglycoprotein (CD235a). CD235a’s high specificity for human erythrocytes, and its high density on RBC surfaces, make it an excellent affinity molecule for capture.
