The affinity purified anti IgG2b only reacts with mouse IgG2b by immunoelectrophoresis and double diffusion when tested at 1 mg/ml against all mouse immunoglobulin classes and subclasses at 1 mg/ml.

The antiserum was solid phase absorbed to make it IgG2b heavy chain specific and the anti IgG2b subsequently immunoaffinity purified off an IgG2b immunoabsorbant.
