Goat Anti-Rat IgG H&L (Alexa Fluor® 555) is a secondary antibody with a maximum absorption wavelength of 555nm and a maximum emission wavelength of 565nm. Ideal for fluorescent cell and tissue imaging. Suitable for IHC, ICC/IF, Flow Cytometry and ELISA.

- Intense fluorescence and high photostability allowing more time for image capture especially when detecting low abundance targets
- Minimal spectral overlap with other Alexa Fluor® dyes makes this ideal for use in multi-color analysis
- Cited in over 30 publications

ICC/IF image of ab6160 stained HeLa cells. The cells were 100% methanol fixed (5 min) and then incubated in 1%BSA / 10% normal goat serum / 0.3M glycine in 0.1% PBS-Tween for 1h to permeabilise the cells and block non-specific protein-protein interactions. The cells were then incubated with the antibody (ab6160, 2µg/ml) overnight at +4°C. The secondary antibody (yellow) was ab150158 Alexa Fluor® 555 goat anti-rat IgG (H+L) used at 1µg/ml for 1h. DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclei (blue) at a concentration of 1.43µM.
