Suitable for ELISA, IHC-Fr, IHC-P, ICC/IF, Flow Cyt. Ideal for fluorescent cell and tissue imaging. Preadsorbed to minimise non-specific binding and high background staining. Cited in 3 publications.
By immunoelectrophoresis and ELISA this antibody reacts specifically with goat IgG and with light chains common to other goat immunoglobulins. No antibody was detected against non-immunoglobulin serum proteins. Reduced cross-reactivity to chicken, horse, human, mouse, pig and rat IgG was detected.
Preservative: 0.02% Sodium azide
Constituents: PBS, 23% Glycerol (glycerin, glycerine), 1% BSA
Antiserum was cross adsorbed using chicken, horse, human, mouse, pig and rat immunosorbents to remove cross reactive antibodies. The antibody to goat IgG was isolated by affinity chromatography using antigen coupled to agarose beads.

ICC/IF image of Anti-alpha Tubulin antibody [DM1A] - Loading Control ab7291 stained HeLa cells. The cells were 100% methanol fixed (5 min) and then incubated in 1%BSA / 10% rabbit serum / 0.3M glycine in 0.1% PBS-Tween for 1h to permeabilise the cells and block non-specific protein-protein interactions. The cells were then incubated with the antibody (Anti-alpha Tubulin antibody [DM1A] - Loading Control ab7291, 1μg/ml) overnight at +4°C. ab98800, goat anti-mouse IgG, was then added as a secondary bridging antibody, at 1/250 dilution for 1h. ab175707, Rabbit Anti-Goat IgG H&L (Alexa Fluor® 568) preadsorbed (yellow) was then used at 1μg/ml for 1h as a tertiary antibody. DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclei (blue) at a concentration of 1.43μM.
Alexa Fluor® 568 is pseudocolored in yellow.
The secondary antibody only control displays negative staining, as expected.
