Same principle

The 384-well SimpleStep ELISA® uses a different plate format to our standard 96-well kits, but the principle is the same. The assay procedure uses exactly the same simple mix, wash, and read steps, powered by the same CaptSure™ technology. This means our 384-well format has the same 90-minute assay time, saving you crucial time at the bench. The majority of our kits use rabbit monoclonal antibody pairs, purpose-built for ELISA. Recombinant technology means our kits can be manufactured ab infinitum, giving you guaranteed supply and batch-to-batch consistency, so you can trust that your kit will give you the same data every time you order.

Same results

Our 384-well kits are powered by the same antibody pairs and protein standards as our 96-well kits, guaranteeing the same excellent sensitivity, specificity, and reproducibility you’ve come to expect.

We ensure that our 384-well kits are validated against our 96-well kits, ensuring both our usual rigorous quality standards and inter-assay reproducibility. We have strict standard curve and biological reproducibility criteria to ensure that your transition from the 96- to 384-well format is truly seamless. Biological interpolated values are within 10% between the 384- and 96-well kits, meaning that for a given sample you’ll measure the same target concentration regardless of plate format. Full validation guarantees low inter-assay variability, so you can be confident when comparing your results between labs.
