Contactin-2
Function
Axon-associated cell adhesion molecule (AxCAM) which promotes neurite outgrowth by interaction with the AxCAM L1 (G4) of neuritic membrane. Contributes to the organization of axonal domains at nodes of Ranvier (By similarity).
Post-translational modifications
The N-terminus is blocked.

Belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily. Contactin family.
