Function
Could play a role in the determination of the epiblastic cells that subsequently give rise to the mesoderm. Activates the Nodal-dependent signaling pathway.

Expressed weakly in lung, colon and breast. Expressed also strongly in primary cancer tissues; lung and colon cancers.
