Function
Envelope glycoprotein that binds to the host cell entry receptors NECTIN1 and TNFRSF14/HVEM, promoting the virus entry into host cells. May trigger fusion with host membrane, by recruiting the fusion machinery composed of gB and gH/gL (By similarity).
