Glutathione peroxidase 7
Function
It protects esophageal epithelia from hydrogen peroxide-induced oxidative stress. It suppresses acidic bile acid-induced reactive oxygen species (ROS) and protects against oxidative DNA damage and double-strand breaks (By similarity).
