hlgB
Function
Toxin that seems to act by forming pores in the membrane of the cell. Has a hemolytic and a leucotoxic activity. Promotes host AMFR-mediated inflammation by mediating 'Lys-27'-linked ubiquitination of TAB3, TAK1-TAB3 complex formation and phosphorylation of TAK1/MAP3K7. In turn, activates host NF-kappa-B signaling pathway.
