Function
Counteracts the antiviral effects of host IFN-alpha/beta and key IFN-inducible proteins involved in viral RNA degradation suxh as host OAS1 (PubMed:28877647). Acts as a soluble IFN-alpha receptor and thus inhibits the interaction between host IFN-alpha and its receptor.
