May be involved in peroxisomal proliferation and may regulate peroxisomes division (PubMed:9792670). May mediate binding of coatomer proteins to the peroxisomal membrane (By similarity). Promotes membrane protrusion and elongation on the peroxisomal surface (PubMed:20826455).
