Synthesizes selenophosphate from selenide and ATP.
Post-translational modifications
Truncated SEPHS2 proteins produced by failed UGA/Sec decoding are ubiquitinated by the CRL2(KLHDC3) complex, which recognizes the glycine (Gly) at the C-terminus of truncated SEPHS2 proteins.
