Cancer epigenetics pathway

Our interactive poster highlights key epigenetic targets involved in the regulation of the biological processes critical to carcinogenesis.

DNA and RNA modifications, histone modifications, and nucleosome remodeling are dynamic changes in chromatin that are added or removed by chromatin-modifying enzymes. Normally, epigenetic modifications play a fundamental role in the regulation of processes such as transcription. Disruption of epigenetic pathways can result in altered gene function and malignant cellular transformation. Aberrant epigenetic modifications are considered essential players in cancer initiation and progression.
