IHC-validated recombinant antibodies for NanoString’s GeoMx Protein Barcoding Service

GeoMx Protein Assays, developed by NanoString, are high-plex cocktails of oligonucleotide-labeled antibodies bound to tissue sections using standard immunohistochemical (IHC) staining methods. Validated for use in multiplex applications, they enable you to profile many more markers than traditional methods.

Abcam’s highly specific and sensitive IHC-validated antibodies enable the best results with GeoMx Protein Assays in multiple ways.

Robust IHC validation

Our antibodies undergo a variety of validation methods including staining multi-normal human tissue microarrays (TMAs), multi-tumor human TMAs, and rat/mouse TMAs during both development and QC.

Whenever possible our antibodies are knockout-validated and we are working to extend our range of KO-validated antibodies for IHC.

Conjugation-ready carrier-free recombinant monoclonal antibodies

Our recombinant antibodies are also available as carrier-free antibodies for a flexible and simple solution. The carrier-free format gives you:

  • BSA, sodium azide, and glycerol-free format that supports consistent and successful conjugation. 
  • 1mg/mL to eliminate the need to concentrate before conjugation
  • Purified IgG to increase conjugation yield

How to order

  1. Contact Abcam to select your IHC-validated carrier-free antibody.  Once we understand your needs, we will provide a quotation with an estimated lead time. Alternatively, you can choose from our range of products. 
  2. Place an order for >500ug of your chosen antibody with Abcam. We recommend validating your chosen clone by purchasing a smaller aliquot (eg 100ul) before placing your >500ug antibody order with us.
  3. Get in contact with NanoString to initiate the GeoMx Protein Barcoding Service for your chosen antibody.
