Hello, I would like to ask you about the anti-ENPP2 primary antibody. I bougth the ab82590 few weeks ago. First - before ordering, I asked about the difference between this one - ab82590 and the other ab77104, because the characteristics of these antibodies is completely same. I received the answers from two czech distributors (one - you can see below and 2nd from Ing. Pavel Košulič - Baria company - is not connected, because it´s in Czech), that these antibodies are identical. From this point, I ordered the ab82590 one, because Mr. xxxxx sent me the information, that you will take out the ab77104 from your offer and will keep there just the ab82590 one. We did some imunnohistochemical staining on positive control - ovarian cancer and it gives us no signal - we tried citrate buffer, high pH buffer (pH9) and EDTA buffer, each in dilutions 1:100 and 1:50 with one hour and over night incubation. I checked both datasheets again and in the ab77104 is an example of imunnohistochemical staining on human tonsils FFRE section after 15 min incubation, 1:100 dilution in citrate buffer. The examples of western blot analysis are slightly different between the ab82590 and ab77104 datasheets. I would like to ask you, if you are sure, that these antibodies are identical. Or way can I still find the ab77104 antibody in your offer? Do you have any recommendation for me? Thank you with kind regards

Thank you for contacting us. Ab82590 and ab77104 are both Anti-ENPP2 mouse monoclonals, however, ab82590 is from the clone [1F8] and ab77104 is from [5H3]. We are sorry if any confusion has been caused in this matter. We have no plans to discontinue either product. I am sorry to hear you have been experiencing problems with ab82590. This antibody has been tested using mouse and human samples and in paraffin embedded IHC. We would therefore expect your experiments to be working. If you wouldn't mind, could you please fill out the questionnaire I have attached in order to find out a few more details about the protocol used. This may allow me to suggest some things in order to improve the result, and will also allow us to monitor the problem and initiate any internal investigations needed in this case. If the antibody was purchased within 6 months and used according to the datasheet you will be covered by the Abpromise and will be entitled to a free of charge replacement or a credit note. I look forward to receiving your reply.
