Our Abpromise guarantee covers the use of ab262906 in the following tested applications.
The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
|IHC-P||1/500 - 1/1000. Perform heat mediated antigen retrieval with citrate buffer pH 6 before commencing with IHC staining protocol.|
FunctionMediates both influx and efflux of nucleosides across the membrane (equilibrative transporter). It is sensitive (ES) to low concentrations of the inhibitor nitrobenzylmercaptopurine riboside (NBMPR) and is sodium-independent. It has a higher affinity for adenosine. Inhibited by dipyridamole and dilazep (anticancer chemotherapeutics drugs).
Tissue specificityExpressed in heart, brain, mammary gland, erythrocytes and placenta, and also in fetal liver and spleen.
Sequence similaritiesBelongs to the SLC29A transporter family.
Cellular localizationBasolateral cell membrane. Apical cell membrane. Predominantly localized in the basolateral membrane in polarised MDCK cells.
