    Lane 1 : 293 cell extract at 30 µg
    Lane 2 : Jurkat cell extract at 30 µg

  • IHC image of ab64820 staining in human normal lymphoid formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section, performed on a Leica BondTM system using the standard protocol F. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with EDTA (pH9, epitope retrieval solution 2) for 20 mins. The section was then incubated with ab64820, 5µg/ml, for 15 mins at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.

    For other IHC staining systems (automated and non-automated) customers should optimize variable parameters such as antigen retrieval conditions, primary antibody concentration and antibody incubation times.

We haven't tested this antibody for cross-reactivity with other class B Eph receptors, but I've aligned the immunogen against the human proteome and found that it is 100% identical to EPHB3, 93% to EPHB1, and 92% to EPHB2. Since these proteins are so homologous, it is possible that the antibody will cross-react.
