​Summary 

After a painfully long break due to the COVID19 pandemic, during which we at least held short online meetings, we will be back in person to the by now traditional abcam Adult Neurogenesis conference in Dresden.

Adult neurogenesis, the production of new neurons in the adult brain, provides key aspects of functionality to the hippocampus and adds plasticity to the striatum and olfactory bulb. The field is growing and maturing. There are exciting developments that deserve intensive discussion. Dresden 2023 will be the forum for this exchange.

The program will include regular speakers at this series, experts for hotly discussed topics in the field and rising stars. To promote interaction, we will extend the time for poster sessions and will again select the best abstracts for oral presentation in the plenum. Choose Dresden 2023 to present your first poster!

This meeting will cover topics such as:

• Novel insights in neural stem cell biology
• Regulation of adult neurogenesis
• Functional relevance of adult-born neurons
• Translational perspectives with an emphasis on Alzheimer’s disease

Short talk slots and poster presentations places are available. Abstracts can be submitted during online registration.

Registration is now open! All payments are taken in EUR.

Registration fee includes:

The CRTD – Center for Regenerative Therapies Dresden, TU Dresden​ is a research institute and Cluster of Excellence at the Technische Universität Dresden, comprising 18 core research groups. Embracing these core groups is the CRTD Members network, an interdisciplinary organization of around 80 principal investigators located at other research institutes in Dresden.
