    Pseudomonas aeruginosa produces two extracellular protein toxins, Exoenzyme S and Exotoxin A. Exoenzyme S is probably an exotoxin. It has the characteristic subunit structure of the A-component of a bacterial toxin, and it has ADP-ribosylating activity (for a variety of eukaryotic proteins) characteristic of exotoxins. It has been suggested that exoenzyme S may act to impair the function of phagocytic cells in the bloodstream and internal organs to prepare for invasion by Ps. aeruginosa. Exoenzyme S is a potent stimulus for the proliferation of T cells in greater than 95% of adults, which could contribute to the pathogenesis of Cystic Fibrosis.

I would like to confirm that ab20031 is supplied in PSB + sodium azide at 0,02 %. Please, note that this antibody was raised in hens and that the IgY molecule has slightly different characteristics than rabbit IgG. I would recommend checking the coupling protocol for the beads you are using to assure that also IgY can be coupled to those beads. Please also note that the product is a total IgY, not affinity purified and its purity is 80 % (measured by a total IgY fraction estimatation). There can therefore be other contaminating proteins present in this solution, but their characteristics are not known to us.
