    Target

    • Function

Apoptotic adaptor molecule that recruits caspase-8 or caspase-10 to the activated Fas (CD95) or TNFR-1 receptors. The resulting aggregate called the death-inducing signaling complex (DISC) performs caspase-8 proteolytic activation. Active caspase-8 initiates the subsequent cascade of caspases mediating apoptosis.
    • Tissue specificity

Expressed in a wide variety of tissues, except for peripheral blood mononuclear leukocytes.
    • Sequence similarities

      Contains 1 death domain.
Contains 1 DED (death effector) domain.
    • Domain

Contains a death domain involved in the binding of the corresponding domain within Fas receptor.

      Answer

      Thank you for your inquiry.

If we know of our antibodies being used in any references/publications, we will list these under the "Specific References" section of our datasheet, which can be found under the shipping and pricing information online.

We know of one reference for ab112926: Okamoto K et al. DNA damage-induced phosphorylation of MdmX at serine 367 activates p53 by targeting MdmX for Mdm2-dependent degradation. Mol Cell Biol 25:9608-20 (2005). PubMed: 16227609

We do not know of any publications for ab55334, ab59425, or ab28820. We would still guarantee these antibodies to work as stated on the datasheets in accordance with our Abpromise.

I hope this information helps. Please contact us with any other questions.
