    May have an regulatory role in normal and neoplastic B cell development.
  • Tissue specificity

    Expressed in the secondary lymphoid organs, spleen and lymph node. Expression is limited to the mature B-cell lines. Highly expressed in CD19 and within the mantle zones of the tonsil tissue. Isoform 2 is expressed in the spleen, peripheral blood and bone marrow. Isoform 2 and isoform 4 are expressed in B-cell lines. Preferentially expressed in memory B-cells (at protein level).

    Contains 4 Ig-like C2-type (immunoglobulin-like) domains.
  • Domain

    Contains 2 copies of a cytoplasmic motif that is referred to as the immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitor motif (ITIM). The phosphorylated ITIM motif bind the SH2 domain of PTPN6.

  • Immunoprecipitation analysis of 293 (Human epithelial cells from embryonic kidney) whole cell extract labeling FCRL2 using ab197897 at 1/60 dilution (Lane 2).
    Lane 3: IP using Rabbit monoclonal IgG (ab172730) ) instead of ab197897 in 293 (Human epithelial cells from embryonic kidney) whole cell extract.
    Lane 1: Input: 10 μg 293 (Human epithelial cells from embryonic kidney) whole cell extract.
    Subsequent WB detection was performed using ab197897 at 1/1000 dilution.
    An Anti-Rabbit IgG (HRP), specific to the non-reduced form of IgG at 1/1500 was used as secondary antibody.
