DescriptionMouse monoclonal [N235/22] to FGF13
Specificityab186300 will not recognize isoforms 2, 3, 4 or 5 of human FGF13. It cross-reacts with FGF12 and FGF14. It has 100% identity with human, mouse and rat FGF12; 94% identity with human, mouse and rat FGF14; 81% identity to human and mouse FGF11.
Tested applicationsSuitable for: WB, ICC/IFmore details
Species reactivityReacts with: Mouse, Rat, Human
Predicted to work with: Xenopus laevis, Orangutan
- WB: Rat brain lysate. ICC/IF: SK-N-BE cells.
1μg/mL of ab186300 was sufficient for detection of FGF13 in 20 μg of rat brain lysate by colorimetric immunoblot analysis using Goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody.
The clone number has been updated from S235-22 to N235/22, both clone numbers name the same antibody clone.
Reproducibility is key to advancing scientific discovery and accelerating scientists’ next breakthrough.
Abcam is leading the way with our range of recombinant antibodies, knockout-validated antibodies and knockout cell lines, all of which support improved reproducibility.
We are also planning to innovate the way in which we present recommended applications and species on our product datasheets, so that only applications & species that have been tested in our own labs, our suppliers or by selected trusted collaborators are covered by our Abpromise™ guarantee.
In preparation for this, we have started to update the applications & species that this product is Abpromise guaranteed for.
We are also updating the applications & species that this product has been “predicted to work with,” however this information is not covered by our Abpromise guarantee.
Applications & species from publications and Abreviews that have not been tested in our own labs or in those of our suppliers are not covered by the Abpromise guarantee.
