    The Life Science industry has been in the grips of a reproducibility crisis for a number of years. Abcam is leading the way in addressing the problem with our range of recombinant monoclonal antibodies and knockout edited cell lines for gold-standard validation.

    One factor contributing to the crisis is the use of antibodies that are not suitable. This can lead to misleading results and the use of incorrect data informing project assumptions and direction. To help address this challenge, we have introduced an application and species grid on our primary antibody datasheets to make it easy to simplify identification of the right antibody for your needs.

      Question

      Hi,

      I would like to buy antibodies to stain B and T lymphozytes and to differentiate them in monkey blood for Flow Cytometry. I don’t really know what the best antibodies would be to perform such an experiment. Could you help me to find some antibodies?

      Could you also give me a protocol for the staining?
      I look forward hearing from you. I would like to order next week so it would be nice if you could answer as soon as possible.

      Answer

      Thank you for contacting us.

      There are many B cell and T cell specific marker, proteins. Please click the link below for more information;

      http://www.antibodybeyond.com/reviews/cell-markers/t-cell-marker.htm

      https://www.abcam.com/Multicolor-Human-B-cell-marker-panel-CD5-PE-CD19-APC-CD20-FITC-and-CD45-PE-Cy7-ab106071.html

      We have antibodies against these markers e.g ab24055, ab27991, ab24500, ab1157, ab1169, ab42941, ab46729 and many more.

      We might not have tested the anti B-cell or T-cell specific antibodies with Monkey cells so you might need to test these your selves. Please use human cells as positive control.

      Please do contact me for more information once you have selected the antibodies.

      I hope this information is helpful to you. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need any more advice or information.
