DescriptionRabbit polyclonal to FKBP135
SpecificityWe have data to indicate that this antibody may not cross react with Mouse. However, this has not been conclusively tested and expression levels may vary in certain cell lines/tissues.
Tested applicationsSuitable for: IHC-Fr, WB, IP, IHC-Pmore details
Species reactivityReacts with: Rat, Human
Predicted to work with: Chimpanzee
Synthetic peptide (Unfortunately the amino acid sequence is considered to be commercially sensitive). The peptide sequence is within the region between aa960 and aa1020 of human FKBP135 using the numbering given in TrEMBL entry Q9Y4D0 (GeneID 23307).
- HeLa cells.

Our Abpromise guarantee covers the use of ab14433 in the following tested applications.
The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
IP: Use at a concentration of 1 to 4 mcg/mg of lysate.
WB: 1/2000 - 1/10000. Predicted molecular weight: 148 kDa.
Not tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Prepare working dilution immediately before use.
FunctionMay be involved in the cytoskeletal organization of neuronal growth cones. Seems to be inactive as a PPIase (By similarity). Involved in the transport of early endosomes at the level of transition between microfilament-based and microtubule-based movement.
Sequence similaritiesBelongs to the FKBP-type PPIase family.
Contains 1 PPIase FKBP-type domain.
DomainThe PPIase FKBP-type domain seems to be inactive both for FK506-binding and enzymatic activity.
The central coiled-coil region is responsible for association with early endosomes.
Cellular localizationCytoplasm. Cell projection > axon. Early endosome. Present in axons and neuronal growth cones.
