Product nameFluo-4 AM, Fluorescent labeling reagent
DescriptionFluorescent labeling reagent for the detection of intracellular calcium
A fluorescent labeling reagent for the detection of intracellular calcium. Binds to intracellular calcium (Kd = 345 nM). Fluo-4 is an analog of Fluo-3 with the two chlorine substituents replaced by fluorines, which results in increased fluorescence excitation at 488 nm and consequently higher fluorescence signal levels.
Fluo-4 AM has spectral wavelength of maximum excitation @ ~490 nm and maximum emission @ ~520 nm.
4-(6-Acetoxymethoxy-2,7-difluoro-3-oxo-9-xanthenyl)-4′-methyl-2,2′-(ethylenedioxy)dianiline-N,N,N′,N′-tetraacetic acid tetrakis(acetoxymethyl) ester
