Will this antibody bind to free fluorescein, i.e. fluorescein not bound to IgG (like the immunogen)?

Thank you for your inquiry.
The antibody has not been tested for binding to free flourescein, but some binding to the free form is expected since the antibody is polyclonal. The antibody is tested against flourescein conjugated protein. I heard from that lab that unfortunately we do not have methods for testing against free flourescein.
I hope this information helps. Please contact us with any other questions.
