I am writing in connection with antibody #ab11070 (anti GAD65+GAD67). According to the datasheet this antibody also binds non-specifically to a GAD45 kDa band. This band is certainly the GAD44 embryonic GAD  form (Szabo et al., MCB, 1994, p. 7535, see also Varju et al., CTR, 2001; JNC, 2002). I have recombinant GAD proteins and   am offering to check all GAD antibodies offered by Abcam on Western blots if I am sent small aliquots. With best regards:
