General notes
ab247704 is the carrier-free version of ab108623 This format is designed for use in antibody labeling, including fluorochromes, metal isotopes, oligonucleotides, enzymes.
Our carrier-free formats are supplied in a buffer free of BSA, sodium azide and glycerol for higher conjugation efficiency.
Use our conjugation kits for antibody conjugates that are ready-to-use in as little as 20 minutes with <1 minute hands-on-time and 100% antibody recovery: available for fluorescent dyes, HRP, biotin and gold.
Ab247704 is compatible with the Maxpar® Antibody Labeling Kit from Fluidigm.
Maxpar® is a trademark of Fluidigm Canada Inc.
Mouse, Rat: We have preliminary internal testing data to indicate this antibody may not react with these species. Please contact us for more information.

Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections) - Anti-Galectin 7 antibody [EPR4287] - BSA and Azide free (ab247704)
This data was developed using ab108623, the same antibody clone in a different buffer formulation.
ab108623, at 1/500 dilution, staining Galectin 7 in paraffin-embedded Human skin tissue by Immunohistochemistry. Perform heat mediated antigen retrieval with citrate buffer pH 6 before commencing with IHC staining protocol. -
This data was developed using the same antibody clone in a different buffer formulation (ab108623).
Immunocytochemistry analysis of HaCaT (human skin keratinocyte) labeling Galectin 7 with purified ab108623 at 1/1000 dilution (0.5 µg/ml). Cells were fixed with 4% Paraformaldehyde and permeabilised with 0.1% tritonX-100. Goat anti rabbit IgG (Alexa Fluor® 488, ab150077) at 1/1000 (2 µg/ml) was used as the secondary antibody. ab195889 Anti-alpha Tubulin antibody [DM1A] - Microtubule Marker (Alexa Fluor® 594) 1/200 (2.22 µg/ml) was used as counterstain. Nuclei were stained blue with DAPI.
Negative control: PBS instead of the primary antibody. -
This data was developed using ab108623, the same antibody clone in a different buffer formulation.
Flow cytometry analysis of HACAT (Human skin keratinocyte) cells labeling Galectin 7 (red) with ab108623 at a 1/2000 dilution. Cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and permeabilized with 90% methanol. A goat anti-rabbit IgG (Alexa Fluor® 488) (ab150077) was used as the secondary antibody at a 1/2000 dilution. Black - Rabbit monoclonal IgG (Black) (ab172730). Blue (unlabeled control) - Cell without incubation with primary antibody and secondary antibody (Blue). -
This data was developed using ab108623, the same antibody clone in a different buffer formulation.
