Non-syndromic mental retardation patients do not manifest other clinical signs.
Defects in GDI1 are the cause of mental retardation X-linked type 48 (MRX48) [MIM:300104]; also known as MRX3.

Flow cytometric analysis of HeLa cells (2% paraformaldehyde-fixed) labeling GDI1 with ab181213 at 1/40 dilution (red), or a rabbit monoclonal IgG isotype control (green). Goat anti rabbit IgG (FITC) at 1/150 dilution was used as a secondary antibody.
Western blot analysis of immunoprecipitation pellet from Human fetal brain lysate (lane 1) or a negative control (lane 2) immunoprecipitated using ab181213 at 1/50 dilution.
Secondary: Anti-Rabbit IgG (HRP), specific to the non-reduced form of IgG at 1/1500 dilution.
