    Catalyzes the attachment of the cognate amino acid to the corresponding tRNA in a two-step reaction: the amino acid is first activated by ATP to form a covalent intermediate with AMP and is then transferred to the acceptor end of the cognate tRNA.

  • Glutamyl Prolyl tRNA synthetase/PARS was immunoprecipitated from HEK-293T (human epithelial cell line from embryonic kidney transformed with large T antigen) whole cell extract with 5 µg of ab229498. Western blot was performed from the immunoprecipitate using ab229498. Anti-Rabbit IgG was used as a secondary reagent.

    Lane 1: Control IgG instead of ab229498 in HEK-293T whole cell extract. 
    Lane 2: ab229498 IP in HEK-293T whole cell extract.
