Overview

  • Product name

    Glyoxalase I Assay Kit (Colorimetric)
  • Detection method

    Colorimetric
  • Sample type

Cell Lysate, Tissue Homogenate, Purified protein
  • Product overview

Glyoxalase I Assay Kit (Colorimetric) (ab241019) utilizes the ability of an active Glyoxalase I (GloI) to catalyze the formation of S-D-lactoylglutathione (SLG) by using two GloI substrates. The formation of the SLG can be tracked using a microplate reader at OD 240 nm.

Our assay kit is simple, sensitive and can detect as low as 0.05 mU of GloI activity in biological samples.

Properties

  • Storage instructions

Store at -20°C. Please refer to protocols.
  • Components 100 tests
    GloI Assay Buffer 1 x 25ml
    GloI Substrate A 1 x 1.1ml
GloI Substrate B (Lyophilized) 1 vial
    Glyoxalase I (Lyophilized) 1 vial
