I am looking for anti-mouse IgG heavy chain specific HRP for western blot. The size of my target protein is same with IgG light chain. I need avoid the light chain. I found several products on your website. Is that antibody to mouse IgG-Fc(HRP) can avoid to detect the IgG light chain. What is different with these products? Could you tell me which one is better for my experiment? ab20043 Goat polyclonal Secondary Antibody to Mouse IgG - Fc (HRP) ab98762 Goat F(ab')2 polyclonal Secondary Antibody to Mouse IgG - (Fab')2 (HRP), pre-adsorbed ab98717 Goat polyclonal Secondary Antibody to Mouse IgG - Fc (HRP), pre-adsorbed ab98741 Goat F(ab')2 polyclonal Secondary Antibody to Mouse IgG - Fc (HRP), pre-adsorbed

Thank you for contacting Abcam. Based on your requirements, I would recommend ab20043 as it will only react with the heavy chain of the mouse IgG. The image below shows the different regions of the IgG molecule and so from that you will be able to see clearly the regions that the other antibodies you selected bind too. The difference between the preabsored and non preabsorbed i antibodies s that preabsorbed antibodies reduce non-specific background staining, especially in IHC when working with closely homologous species. If there is anything else I can help you with, please let me know.
