    Electron Microscopy: Use at an assay dependent dilution. The method of production of this product allows the small particle size of 6nm to be used instead of 5nm with the same sensitivity but increased visibility in the standard transmission electron microscope (See also van Bergen en Henegouwen & Leunissen, Histochemistry, 85, (1986), 81.)

    This is an adsorption/chemisorption technique. The conventional labeling approach in transmission and scanning electron microscopy utilizes secondary immunogold reagents based on particles that can be observed without enhancement. These conjugates are suited for single and multiple labeling in electron microscopy, when the number of antigens available for binding is such that a relevant signal can be obtained.
