Affinity isolated antigen specific antibody is obtained from goat anti-mouse IgA antiserum by immunospecific purification which removes essentially all goat serum proteins, including immunoglobulins, which do not specifically bind to a-chain of mouse IgA.
The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
ID: One milligram of affinity isolated antibody will react with 0.5-5.0 mg of mouse IgA as determined by single radial immunodiffusion (Becker). In Immuno-electrophoresis applications (IEP), electrophoresis of the antibody preparation followed by diffusion versus anti-Goat IgG and anti-Goat whole serum results in single arcs of precipitation.
Not yet tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
