  • Host species

  • Target species

  • Specificity

By immunoelectrophoresis and ELISA this antibody reacts specifically with Mouse IgA. Cross reactivity with other immunoglobulins and light chains is less than 0.1%. Cross reactivity to mouse IgM, IgG1, IgG2a, IgG2b, IgG2c, IgG3 and IgE is undetectable. Some hybridoma clones may express aberrant immunoglobulin-related peptides that are improperly recognized by this antibody.

Thank you for contacting us. I am sorry to hear you have had difficulty obtaining satisfactory results from this antibody.

I would like to investigate this particular case further for you, and also obtain more information for our quality records.

In order to verify the HRP enzyme has not been degraded, I would like to ask you to please add some drops of secondary directly on the membrane, followed by addition of the substrate.

If no colour is developed, the lack of signal may be due to enzyme degradation. Otherwise, some further problem with the antibody’s specificity may be occurring.

I assume you have checked the isotypes are compatible, and you have tried incubating the secondary with other primaries to dismiss primary failure.

Please note that all of our products are covered by our Abpromise guarantee; which ensures that you can trust our products, and they should work in the tested species and applications stated on the datasheet, or we will offer a replacement, credit, or refund, if reported within 6 months of purchase.

I look forward for receiving your reply.
