Thanks for your reply. I have a question about your recommendation. According to the reported by the customer, it could exist the possibility the antibody is unspecific. If this situation can be, what do you suggest to check it?. I think in this case, Abcam would have to replace the product. Please, let me know your comments about that Best regards

You are correct that if we find the antibody is not peforming as expected, based on information on our online datasheet, we would be happy to offer a replacement, credit or refund. In this case, the antibody may be reacting unspecifically. Based on the dilution factor (1:50) the customer notes using in FACS however, I feel that perhaps the customer is using too much antibody. Using too much antibody will produce a high background much the same an antibody which is non-specific. By diluting ab97264 to a working dilution of 1:200, I hope to reduce the background in the experiment. I look forward to hearing if my suggestion proves useful.
