  • Function

    Specifically phosphorylates the agonist-occupied form of the beta-adrenergic and closely related receptors, probably inducing a desensitization of them. Key regulator of LPAR1 signaling. Competes with RALA for binding to LPAR1 thus affecting the signaling properties of the receptor. Desensitizes LPAR1 and LPAR2 in a phosphorylation-independent manner.

  • Immunohistochemical analysis of adult mouse brain tissue, staining GRK2 (phospho S29) with ab58520.

    Tissue was fixed with paraformaldehyde, permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100and blocked with 10% horse serum for 1 hour at 20°C;. Samples were incubated with primary antibody (1/1000 in 10% horse serum in PBS + 0.1% Triton X-100) for 16 hours at 4°C. An AlexaFluor®488-conjugated donkey anti-rabbit polyclonal IgG (1/1000) was used as the secondary antibody.
