  • Anti-Grp75/MOT antibody [N52A/42] (ab94668) at 1/1000 dilution + HeLa (Human epithelial cell line from cervix adenocarcinoma) cell lysate at 15 µg

    Sheep Anti-Mouse IgG: HRP

    Predicted band size: 74 kDa

    Block: 1.5% BSA for 30 minutes at RT.

    Incubated with primary antibody for 2 hours at RT.

    Incubated with secondary antibody for 1 hour at RT.

  • HeLa (Human epithelial cell line from cervix adenocarcinoma) cells stained for Grp75/MOT (Green) using ab94668 at a 1/100 dilution in ICC/IF.

    Heat shocked HeLa cells were fixed in 2% formaldehyde for 20 minutes at RT. Incubated with primary antibody for 12 hours at 4°C. Secondary Antibody: FITC Goat Anti-Mouse (green) at 1:200 for 2 hours at RT. Counterstain: DAPI (blue) nuclear stain at 1:40,000 for 2 hours at RT.

Thank you for calling Abcam earlier.
I have talked to the lab about the immunogen for ab94668 and they have told me that, this antibody was raised against SALM2, not Grp75. The outcome was an excellent antibody to Grp75 - I don't have a terribly good answer as to why that might be... But that's the way it turned out, living system sometimes do interesting things.
In regards to your enquiry, this antibody does recognize the C-terminal end of the protein and so would not be a good choice for your IPs.
