IHC-P: Use at a concentration of 5 µg/ml.
Western Blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx 35kDa band in K562 lysates at 1µg/ml. However, this was accompanied by stronger bands at approx 45kDa and 48kDa. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for these extra bands given the predicted size of approx. 35kDda according to NP_057399.
Not tested in other applications.

FunctionMay function as an adapter protein. Required for efficient phagocytosis of apoptotic cells. Modulates cellular glycosphingolipid and cholesterol transport. May play a role in the internalization and endosomal trafficking of various LRP1 ligands, such as PSAP. Increases cellular levels of GTP-bound ARF6.
