Product code: 20008
Inquiry: Hi, We are wondering whether this Ab (Anti-HIV1 gp120 antibody (HRP) (ab20008)) would react with a recombinant truncated gp120 that binds CD4 and CCR5, but lacks V1, V2, V3 and the gp41 binding domain. Thank you,

Thank you for your inquiry.
I can confirm that the immunogen for ab20008is purified native gp120 from HIV strain IIIB.
Since it is a polyclonal antibody we do not know where exactly it bind in the protein.
We have one mouse monoclonal antibody where the immunogen is is now and a short peptide sequence: ab24745, WQEVGKAMYAPPISGQIRCSSN, corresponding to amino acids 427-448 of Human HIV type I (BH8 isolate) gp120
