Good day ! We have a customer who is interested in the above product and wants to confirm that this antibody will detect the HIV integrase catalytic domain ( aa. 51-212). I hope to hear from you soon. Kind regards

Thank you for contacting us. The amino acid sequence we used to produce this antibody is "FLDGIDKAQDEHEKYHSNWRAMASDFNLPPVVAKEIVASCDKCQLKGEAMHGQVDCSPGIWQL". This sequence is compatible to the amino acid 1148 to 1210 of Gag-Pol protein clad B P04585. The integrase catalytic domain given in P04585 (http://www.uniprot.org/uniprot/P04585#PRO_0000042447) is from aa 1201 - 1351. I am sorry I am not sure what aa 51-212 mean. Could you clarify this? Alternatively I would suggest checking the sequence compatibility of protein of interest with the sequence provided; if it is more than 85% than the antibody will detect the protein. I hope this information is helpful to you. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need any more advice or information.
