|WB||1/2000. Predicted molecular weight: 13 kDa.|
RelevanceHIV1 expresses the trans-activator protein Rev which is required for virus growth as it promotes the localisation and expression of viral RNA in the cytoplasm. Rev is a model experimental system for studying nuclear transport. The HIV1 Rev protein as viral protein is expressed early in the virus life cycle and thus may be important targets for the immune control of HIV1 infection.
- Human immunodeficiency virus 1 Rev antibody
- Protein Rev antibody
- Regulator of expression of viral proteins antibody
- Rev antibody
Anti-HIV1 Rev antibody (ab36623) at 1/2000 dilution + E. coli-derived HIV-Rev fusion protein
Goat anti-IgY-HRP at 1/1000 dilution
Predicted band size: 13 kDa
Observed band size: 70 kDa why is the actual band size different from the predicted?
Predicted band size of 13 kDa is for native HIV-Rev protein, rather than E. coli-derived fusion protein.
