I noticed that the antibody does not react with native HLA-G. Therefore, is a special procedure required for immunohistochemistry, specifically formalin fixed sections?

This antibody reacts with denaturated heavy chain of HLA-G. Routine immunohistochemical protocol for staining of formalin-fixed, paraffin embedded sections is applicable. Recommended epitope retrieval is performed by microwave heating in citrate buffer, pH 6, 15 min.
