Looking through my archives, I realized that I haven't sent this email to you yet. I am so sorry. Have you meanwhile been able to resolve the question with the ab3852?

I have had contacted the laboratory, which confirmed that the epitope recognized by the antibody should be in both the long and short isoform.This antibody was qualifiedwithNuclear Extract from HeLa cells. We do not know the identity of the protein that migrates just slightly more slowly than the 160K molecular weight marker. Unfortunately we do not know which isoform is the predominant isoform.

The laboratory is producing a new batch. Would you like to try a vial of the new batch?

As far as the band you observed at 105 kD, it would be helpful if we could see the image. Ifyou maybe couldcomplete the attached troubleshooting worksheet, and send it to uswith an image,we would have a better understanding of his experiment.
